I needed some time away from kids, and Trish had Sunday off, so we decided to visit Victoria just the two of us. We shopped at MEC (Mountain Equipment Co-op), met Rob for brunch at a small diner, and checked out Fan-Tan Alley in Chinatown. I loved Fan-Tan, a very narrow alley between streets that is crammed with cute little shops…but we spent all our time in one store – I was looking at rings, and Trish was trying on dresses. The rest of the shops were closing when we got out of this store, so I knew we would have to come back with the kids on another day.
