Bukit lawang day 2

We had decided to do a trip today to the caves. We left about 10am with Andy as our guide and Wishnu came along later. We were taken on a lovely walk through part jungle part plantations. We saw lots of amazing trees and plants, including cinammon, cloves, durian, pineapples, babana, passion fruit etc etc. There was a family of Thomas leaf monkeys playing too. When we got to the caves we had to wait a little as there were people in them . There was a bit of climbing in and out and we must have been there forabout an hour. Not too bad but have seen many caves before. We then continued on another trail ending up by the river where Wishnu was cooking us bbq chicken on a fire. We had a lovely swim in the river before lunch, with a fantastic buffet of fresh fruit for dessert. We decided to go back after that. Dominic wasnt feeling great and went to lie down forvthe rest of the evening. We had supper and a few games of cards. It poured with rain in the evening. It seems to be common rain either in the evening or night.
