Today is the day we made it to the west.
At breakfast this morning we saw a cowboy. He had the hat, the spurs, and was in town for the rodeo.
As soon as we got west of Abilene, the prairie opened up. It was a little disorienting at first. We are not used to all of that open space. But it is beautiful. There were times you would look out over the prairie and see absolutely no sign of humans. And then you would run into miles of wind farms.
We are staying in downtown Denver tonight. We took an evening stroll on the 16th Street Mall. There was a public piano there. So I played it for a few minutes.
