I know, the Chuck Berry reference is corny. Forgive me.
But anyway, we are finally in San Francisco. I have to say, it's good to be here after nine days on the road. There was an accident on I-80, which was unfortunate for the people involved in the accident, but it meant we had to take a detour that went over the Golden Gate Bridge. That was pretty cool. We got to see Alcatraz from a distance.
I think I'm going to enjoy the food here. There's a place that makes sourdough bread (which I personally believe is the manna that God sent down to the Jews on their way out of Egypt) and Ghirardelli Square (they make the BEST chocolate).
We're going to have to break out our long sleeves and pants because it is rather cool here. I think the Pacific Ocean is what cools things off.
