Broadway (again!)

Last leg of this outing, happy to be back at Broadway again in the Cotswolds. I’d originally planned to just have 2 nights here on our way home, but decided to stay for 4, as very comfortable here.

Arrived to sunshine on Tuesday 8th June, and just chilled out by the van in the sun and enjoyed a BBQ & a few beers (for a change). Evening walk after dinner with pooch around Childswickham, a divisive neighbouring village.

Wednesday saw a leisurely walk up to the Tower for lunch, and an amble back through Broadway (& the Swan for some more beer). A mooch around the shops where the assistants clearly had us marked as dodgy, so we bought nothing but, from Derbyshire, obviously stole many many things.

On the Thursday, the National Trust collectively went into my book, for not allowing dogs into their cafe at Snowshill Hall. We could however separate and

I could, after having my membership card scanned, collect a coffee in a scooped out vegetable of some description and sit cross legged in a field many miles away and drink it out of sight.

That said, a lovely walk of around 10 miles, and a nice downhill section back into the village for adult refreshments at the Broadway Hotel, at £6 per pint. Daily retirement allowance blown.
