Pacifiic Roadtrip and Beyond

Pack up the tent trailer! We did our first real “pack up and move” today. The kids played on the play structure of Clay’s parents’ property while Alan did most of the work. We’ll try to improve our efforts next time! Heading east we consumed our last Starbucks in Idaho Falls. The entrance into West Yellowstone was surprising. The town feels a little like the trendy Squaw Valley. Bigger buildings, tourist shops and a large hardware store made us glad for more civilization. There was the largest ropes course we had ever seen. Of course we had to try it. Alan and the three older kids went on a course about two stories high as Audrey and I watched while she ate a lollipop the size of her outstretched hand. After a while Alan and I decided to assist Lydia and Clara up to the higher lines and we tramped all around the upper parts and went on the zip lines while Audrey watched with grandpa and grandma. The next course was quite high, probably three stories high, but all of their equipment was very safe and we were always attached with one carribeaner locked and one unlocked to move to the next level. That was the end of the day besides a late dinner and a tired group of kids!
