Up in the morning and off to Vancouver we go! No wait! We decided to skip staying in Vancouver, BC and set up camp at the north of Washington instead. Should we stay in a hotel? Well, we looked longingly at the Holiday Inn Express, but I guess we'll go back to the tent trailer given that all our clothes are there. Seeing a big city like Vancouver wasn’t at the top of the list. Visiting Victoria and Olympic National Park were. A little town called Sequim (not “sequin”, not “squirm”, not “squeem”, but “swim w/ a 'q' in the middle instead of a ‘w’”) was where we parked the tent trailer and slept. There is one fun detail to the trip. In order to save two hours of time, we took our vehicles with trailers across a ferry from Coupeville to Port Townsend. That was interesting! By the time we got set up at camp it was already bedtime, so a quick dinner and bath put everyone in the position for a good night’s rest.
