Pacifiic Roadtrip and Beyond

After filling our tummies with pancakes, the Oregon Coast followed our path while we curved down the road of highway 101. Down from Astoria and into Tillamook. There we looked briefly at the factory conveyor belts and cheese being cured, cut and packaged. There was plenty of opportunity to buy all sorts of souvenirs and treats. We settled on a light lunch so that we could enjoy their delicious ice cream. It seems like Lydia and Clara have almost mastered the ice cream cone, but Luke and Audrey find their hands more covered with drippings than they would prefer. Homeward Bound

Oregon to California

trailer set-up and stayed in a hotel in Medford. Being only the 4th out of 17 days in a hotel, that is not too bad. Kudos to Alan for giving it a go. However, we are planning to set up For Sale signs when we get back. Mainly because it is still worth something and if we keep it for longer it probably will lose all its value. We would probably camp in something else on the few trips that we do take that involve tents or trailers. Maybe tomorrow we will head into Ashland, but other than that, we are all excited to see our familiar Mesa Verdes Court. No thunderstorms. No hail, rain or heavy wind. A solid roof with our own beds and bathrooms. Yes, home sounds pretty good at this point.
