Technically we pulled into the St. Mary KOA which is right outside of Glacier National Park this morning. It was actually 12AM. Not having to set up the tent trailer an extra night was worth it, though. We had a full day ahead of us to explore part of the Road to the Sun and look at the beauty of Many Glacier. While on a hike there we ended up being in the presence of a grizzly bear and her cub supposedly. Several people ahead of us said they witnessed the pair, but we must have missed them. We are quite noisy on the trail, so she must have realized that we were not a threat and were too bothersome to come any closer. There are several nice lodges throughout the park, so we settled at Many Glacier Inn and got a nice cup of tea, cocoa and lemonades while viewing the spectacular mountains and lake. Back at the KOA camp Alan and the kids went swimming and hot tubbing then we all had dinner. Good night! Oh, and there are several Indian reservations around the park; hence, the title.
