Pacifiic Roadtrip and Beyond

The plan today was to drive the rest of the Road to the Sun, but we didn’t want to make everyone nervous, so we kept our altitude a little lower. After a nice family devotion (finally we got to start that!) we headed down to an area called Two Medicine. There are two lakes there and not any visible glaciers on this side of the park. There are only 25 glaciers left as opposed to over a hundred dating back in the early 1900s. There was a boat tour going across a lake where the mountains towered above. Our driver identified some of the peaks and then the skiff took us back to the dock. Back to camp for the night before packing up in the morning!

The kids’ top 3 for Glacier National Park:
1. Seeing the black bear (Lu, Cl), Getting the Junior Ranger Badge (Ly)
2. Going in the pool (Lu, Cl)/ Seeing the black bear (Ly)
3. Going on the hike (Cl)/ Going in the pool and hot tub (Ly)
