Danube and Rhine Rivers Cruise

The city of Nuremberg was the place for the WWII Nazi trials. From our boat to the centre town was only about 15 minutes. A tour of some key facilities where the Nazi party had many of their rallies and the giant unfinished stadium. After the bus tour we did a walking tour. The height of this tour (pun intended) was at the highest point in Nuremberg. This is where the Emperor resided. A very impressive castle with a moat all around it. It that had never been taken in any battles. Maureen and I walked around on our free time, had a coffee and a ginger cookie at a restaurant. To kill to time before our bus departure we did some shopping. We bought a nice blue tablecloth, about 1 metre square. We boarded our bus at 6:45 and headed back to our boat After supper, we attended a 3 man music concert of gypsy, jazz, Franconia music. Not really my kind of music. Tomorrow we head for Bamberg.
