Danube and Rhine Rivers Cruise

This was the last excursion tour of our river cruise. And sadly it was raining. Not heavily but enough to use an umbrella, raincoat or hat. We walked around the windmills of Kinderjik. There are 19 of them still in operation today. They control the level of water in this part of Holland. The land around the area is all below sea or Rhine river level. The windmills ensure that water is always pumped out of this land, otherwise they would all be flooded. Took some picture but as it was raining the opportunity for good photos was scarce. We returned to our boat and started to pack our suitcases for our return trip tomorrow. Bags out our door by 3 AM (We'll put them out before we go to bed). Wake up time is 3 AM and we'll be driven to Amsterdam's Schiphol's airport at 4 AM. We were given box lunches for breakfast.
