The next side path led us to the ‘Amphitheatre’. This was a 60m deep chamber gouged from the rock by running water. One had to climb up some stairs built along the rock face first to reach the narrow about 50m long gap that led to the large opening. The towering stone walls and natural skylight created an awe-inspiring atmosphere within.
