Florida Fantasy
Yesterday was a travel day. We left Tallahassee around 8:30 AM and drove around 4 hours to Ft. Pickens National Park at Pensacola Beach. It's is a barrier island with sugar-sand beaches. Last evening we had a group cookout on the beach - hot dogs, chili, potato salad and chips.
This morning we left our trailer at 8:30 this morning to go to the National Aviation Museum located on the Naval Air Station here in Pensacola Florida. It is packed with planes and helicopters going back to WW II including the Navy plane that first crossed the Atlantic in 1919. A guided trolly tour took us around the grounds with even more to see. There were movies about flying along with flight simulators both of which we experienced. We walked away from the movie about the Blue Angels in awe of what these pilots do.
Afterwards we had lunch at Flounders. The restaurant was really cool. Right on the beach volley ball and all. Tim had a shrimp salad with mango and Pat has Mahi tacos. We have

Back to the trailer. Pat took a quick nap and Tim did some beach exploring. When he got back we went for a evening walk on the beach.
