Florida Fantasy

This was our last day at sea. We have become accustomed to gazing at the sea as we move towards our next destination. Moving from a port we would see the cities fade away but more often it was the endless water with nothing in sight.

Today was relaxing and not worrying about doing anything. After dinner we did attend the variety show. This was the show that Tim had the opportunity to shine but decided against it.

Back to the cabin to sail 679 nautical heading for Ft. Lauderdale.

All and all, we enjoyed this cruise. Neither one of us had this deep desire to go on one. We decided to go because the opportunity presented itself. We would be traveling with people we knew. Actually, we rarely saw our fellow travelers. We ate dinner with them and on occasion we had a get-together to connect. Otherwise, we were on our own. We would go on one again.

Back to Ft. Lauderdale after traveling a little over 7,000 miles. Disembarkation was a breeze. Our bus was waiting to take us back to the campground where we were already hooked up. It was just a matter of taking the wheel breaks off. We were bringing the Airstream back to Greensburg, PA to a dealer to have the Airstream inspected. The plan was drop it off and then pick it back up to bring it closer to home. We stopped at a campground that we have used fairly often on our way home.

It's always good to be back home even after such a nice trip. We were glad that we missed two months of the cold and will plan something next year to do the same.

For anyone who is hesitant about going on a cruise, we encourage you to consider it.
