South-east Asia: An Adventure

After a very ferry trip from Phu Quoc, we arrived to spend our second night in Ha Tien, and checked in. We were pleased to see that they remembered us and welcomed us warmly. We had a very interesting munch of fried noodles and seafood. The waiter misunderstood us (we opted for normal noodles), but the mistake was actually a nice treat for. Imagine super crispy little white noodles, with squid and prawns and veggies.

We walked through the giant, fixed market in town that sells all odds and ends, before going back to the hotel to avoid the midday sun. That afternoon we headed out to find Oasis Bar, a restaurant owned by an Australian. It was a nice place, where we met two Australian students (Chris and Elise) that were travelling as a couple. We're happy to have met them, because the remainder of the evening and night was spent having many beers and laughs with them. We spent hours at the large night market, trying out seafood dishes and watching the locals move about.

We packed up the next morning, had some breakfast at a market, and then bid Ha Tien farewell.
