Laters London - MC and JD's adventure back to NZ

After an early start and some stupid questions at customs... no I’m not returning home to Australia with my obviously New Zealand passport....we finally arrived in Toronto!

Bright and early and even nicer was that Kendell had come to meet us off the plane. Kendell and Jo met 8 years ago in Perth and we are long overdue a visit. Kendell has been to visit us four times already both in NZ and the UK!

By the time we got settled in it was time for a wander down to The Junction for a delicious kitsch lunch at The Beet and an introduction to the local neighbourhood. We took our sick laptop to the Geek Squad at Best Buys but it seems that the issue is with the laptop itself... time for a new one it seems!

Ticking off some more admin Crom had a local experience getting a haircut while Kendell and I took a walk checking out all the different ways people try to keep raccoons out of their garbage bins! Crom also managed to find a Canadian favourite.... Tim Horton’s coffee shop. People line up for this on their way to work every morning, it’s open 24 hours and there is always someone in the stores. It was once rumoured they were adding cocaine to their coffee as it was so addictive!

A wee snooze and tidy up before joining Justin and Kendell for dinner at Pho Huong Pacific. Great pho! And a local beer themed trivia night at 3030. We may not have been able to contribute many answers as many were Canadian based but we sure had fun and tried some stellar beers.
