Day 4
Today was a day filled with adventure! We left our hotel after breakfast at 8:30 am heading to LA. We went across the Galveston Ferry and the Cameron Ferry for FREE. We wouldn't see that in NY now, would we! We had great views of the Gulf of Mexico on our right for hours with all the colorful houses on stilts a story or two above the ground. We saw numerous oil refineries, lots of bayous and lots of stop and go traffic when we got onto I10 heading West toward Baton Rouge. Larry and I had a lot of good laughs through it all.
We got to our Comfort Suites just 10 miles North of New Orleans at 8:30 pm. Time to relax and start a new day in the morning.
Good night all!
