Day 1
Larry and I left Enid, OK (our sister, Laurie's home) at 8:15 am on 3 March 2015 to start our road trip to the FL Keys and back to NY. We are planning on being back to Kerhonkson, NY on 25 March.

We headed to Dallas, TX to visit the Gas Monkey Garage (they were filming a show so we couldn't go into the shop) but Larry saw his truck outside. Then we moved onto the Gas Monkey Bar & Grill where we enjoyed a nice meal in a great atmosphere. At that point, Larry found Strokers Dallas while searching the local area so we headed over there and found some pretty cool looking motorcycles. At that point, we didn't want to stay in the Dallas area because they were expecting sleet tonight into tomorrow so we kept driving to Conroe, TX (which is about 40 miles north of Houston). We arrived at the Comfort Inn in Conroe at 8:45 pm and it was 70 degrees and beautiful!!!
