Day 2
We left our hotel at 8:15 am after a nice breakfast and headed to Houston for the day. Didn't get a chance to ride Segways today, so we went to this awesome downtown aquarium instead. Not only did this aquarium have the normal fish, snakes, turtles and such but it had 4 white tigers. They were beautiful and so playful! Then we ate a late lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe Houston. We then headed over to iFLY Indoor Skydiving to see if that was something we could do. We ended up not doing it because of physical issues so we stayed there and watched a few different groups go through. It was amazing! We both wished our bodies were in better shape so we could have done this.
We decided to drive the hour south to Galveston and stay over night at the Comfort Inn & Suites right on the beach of the Gulf. We arrived at 8 pm and we are literally right across the street from the waves. By the way, it was 82 degrees today. Time to rest up and see what tomorrow brings!
