TX Gulf Coast to FL Keys Road Trip Mar 2015
Day 12
We both had a great nights sleep because we slept in - Yeh!!!! After having some cereal in our room we headed downtown at 12:00 pm. We had an awesome tour guide (Glenn) on the Conch Tour Train. This 1 1/2 hour tour took us around Key West and Glenn gave us a great history lesson mixed with his laid back humor. A must for anyone visiting here.
After some local souvenir shopping we headed to the wharf to board our boat for the Sunset Dinner Cruise. They had a great reggae guy that provided some cool cruising music. The buffet dinner was awesome! I tried to get Larry to eat some Deep Fried Sweet Plaintains (type of banana) but he wasn't feeling it tonight. More for me! I love them! The sunset was beautiful as most of you saw from our pics!
We ended this awesome day with a Baskin Robins ice cream then back to the Naval Base for another good night's sleep.
