We have set the record for the slowest ever Land’s End to John O’Groats – 33 years
Land’s End to John O'Groats is a hallowed cycle route for many UK cyclists. It is sometimes known as the end to end.
Lands End is the South Eastern limit of England, John O'Groats is the nearest village to the North Western limit of Scotland. Some people do it in a week or two. Most follow a relatively direct route. We
followed the scenic route of around 2350 kms.
We started in 1983 when we cycled from Lands End to the Severn bridge. We never intended to go all the way. But when we found ourselves back at the Severn bridge I unconciously restarted the clock.
We finished at 2 pm on the 13th July 2016.
