Eighteenth of February - L e D i v e D u S k y

Today is the day we went skydiving. And, golly what an experience. Jointly with my group of friends, tense on the train, on our way to where it's going to happen. All but one of us were new to this experience. How exciting!

When we arrived, we all got to choose a sky diving suit. These were in all fun colors, so nice! Looking like the Power Rangers, we where ready! After a theoretical but brief explanation, we were paired with a professional who

would jump with us. Guided by their experience, we went into the plane. It was a small propeller plane, you know, the one you see in those movies, those little planes who are so nicely taped together haha!

I, thinking I was smart, enterend the plane as last one. The thought behind it? If I am the last one on the plane, I must also be the last to jump. Calming thoughts. Gotcha! They tricked me. Once we were all seated we had to turn around. And there I was, suddenly at the front. The first to jump. Heck, exciting but after all happy with it.

The jump. The instructor had explained exactly how to jump. Therefore you had for example a special way how to jump and how to position your legs. The instructor would do everything else. There I went with the adrenaline running through my body. Jumping and floating, I couldn't breathe for a moment, but fantastic! Jumping from 3000 m. After the freefall, floating through the air, enjoying the view. I would do it again in a minute!

After we all jumped, what a bond was created. As exciting as it was, we all did it together. Happy and grateful for these amazing friends!
