Troy's Home Coming, Brennan Reunion & Birthday Celebration

Troy originally planned to come home for the whole month of August. Because of a situation in Dubai, he only came back for 11 days. He had a long layover in Milan, Italy so he took a short tour of the city instead of sitting at the airport.
When his plane touched down in Lincoln, he had three little guys wanting a big hug. After collecting the luggage we headed home for a quick shower. We then drove over

to attend the Brennan Family Reunion. Marty & Denise did an excellent job organizing the whole weekend. The food, decorations and activities were very nice. We ate, laughed, went bowling and reconnected with relatives that attended from many different States.
When the reunion ended Saturday evening, Emily and Wade handed the grandsons over to us for 4 days and took off for the Dominican Republic. I will dedicate a whole chapter to that adventure.
On Sunday, Lorri and Larry hosted an 80th Birthday party for my Mother, Pat. We had a great turnout with around 35 of her children, grandchildren and greats attending. Their backyard was a perfect setup for the gathering. A fun time was had by all!
