Dubai Part II

*With the season change, we now are able to enjoy the sunsets from our balcony. It is too hot to be on the deck, but it is still beautiful!
*3 days after returning from London there was another terrorist attack. This van ran over many people on the London bridge before coming to a stop at the exact place Troy and I were waiting for the bus. Thank you God for your continual protection.
*The heat is now upon us. The lows are in the upper 80's. The highs are never below 100 and the heat index is cra cra. Remember, this is all during Ramadan so there is no drinking during daylight. I hear it is going to get worse and that is why many expats go home for the summer. Including ME!!!
*Not only did they shut down my first blog, but the hinge on my laptop broke. I was able to keep it going for awhile with a some tape & a couple binders, but we finally had to buy a new one. This has Arabic letters on the keyboard. Troy transferred everything over with only one problem. My quicken only transferred up to 2015. I had to manually transfer our checkbook register over. narrow curves. I have to admit it is a very tight parking garage.
*We picked up the workers for church again. One gentleman, Frank shared that his brother in Nigeria has been missing for a month. He is a pastor and is with another pastor. They sometimes go out on mission trips, but have never been gone this long with no communication. Please pray that they hear from them soon.
* I looked out one day and saw 8 Green Parrots on my balcony. I ran for my camera, but was not able to get them all.
*Troy had to go get a visa for Saudi Arabia. He was not allowed to take his small pocket knife in with him so they gave him a number to pick it up when he left. I guess they still have it. We need to buy stock in Swiss Army.
*Mom you will be happy to hear this- I have seen many workers here in Dubai cleaning with the E-Cloth. I just smile and think of you back home. If anyone does not know what an E-Cloth is, you need to check it out. Great for cleaning windows......or anything. I brought a set with me and left a set for Hannah to use back home. How do my windows look, Hannah?
