Perth to Darwin

We arrived in Broome one day early. The caravan park we were going to stay in didn’t have room for all three cars, so we stayed at the Seashells Resort for one night with Ms. Narelle and Mr. Bernhard. We saw the most stars so far on our trip.
On Monday we walked through town and found some souvenirs and some lunch. In the afternoon I went on a camel ride on Cable Beach. Mum and I rode together on Eli - the friendliest camel in the blue tour group. Ms. Narelle and Mr. Bernhard also rode with us, but further back. The camel had to sit down to let us climb on and off. When he stood up and sat down it was a little scary; standing up he pitched us backwards, and sitting down he pitched us forwards. But we were fine, and the camel ride was fun. Grandma and dad watched us and took photos and Mali played in the waves. Mali thought the camel ride looked too scary – even though one of the camels was called Malachi!
