We headed back to Edinburgh along some windy Scottish roads and stopped in Culross for lunch. We first saw the ruins of Culross Abbey, a 13th century Cistercian abbey. We stopped in the town center, which was used as a filming location in Outlander (Geillis Duncan's house and the scene with the thief in the stocks, for those interested). A Triumph (car) was also found, which was of great interest to certain members of our group.
For lunch, I ordered haggis nachos, which seemed like a great idea. If you're curious, the nachos were excellent...as long as I didn't think too hard about what's in haggis.
