this was just a stop over to 'kill' time while waiting for a parcel in Childers. It was Extremely hot- even too hot for father! SO... on went the 'genie'!!!
Highlights:
Walk along the gorge to Branyan Creek. Extremly dry and no water until you reach the river. Walk is interesting up and down, along boardwalks and tracks. When I got back I mentioned to a fellow camper that I went to the river. She said it was a bad time to go there now, cause of the snakes. - So that was the rustling I heard in the bush!!!
