We stopped off at Fennel Creek campground, which was a bit inland, yet right beside a flowing river. It was extremely hot and someone was NOT putting the Gennie on. Then.... Someone got hot and decided we'd move. Well....
Oh My Goodness:
The Old Yaamba Hwy was worse than a roller coaster. A roller coaster gives you some up and down time. this was like a bucking kangaroo. Thankfully NOTHING broke. We had to drive between 40-50 klms per hour for most of the way (still felt like we were in a bucking kangaroo) for 265 klms. Finally we had a turn off with only 55 to go. Drove down a bit to see a sign saying unsuitable for caravans due to very steep and windy road. What a sigh of relief when we finally hit the Bruce Hwy. Oh..... Yah! L-O-V-E-L-Y!!! OOPs BIG mistake going to that place!
Highlight:
Yes, there was 1!!! We passed the commemorative park where the Olympic torch ran.
