Highlights:

Crystal Creek: (Gerard Recommended)
Again Beautiful swimming hole where huge boulders lined the creek. Families where swimming there. You could also camp in the camping area (National Park). There was a huge mango tree with thousands of mangos hanging, waiting to be taken. Sadly, they were not ripe yet!!!

Pamula: We drove up into the mountains to check out this little town. It was a very skinny twisty road going up, up, up! Beautiful views to the ocean. On the way was 'Noah's Ark' - the rock looked just like an ark!

Frosty Mango:
There's a big everything- even a mango. Little farm shop selling ice cream- Yummmmeeee!!!

Bicentennial Beacon:
The monument marks the site of the beacon lit by the Rollingstone community to commemorate 200 years celebration of the European settlement of Australia in 1988. The Bicentennial Beacons were a series of bonfires lit around Australia.

Turtles in the creek:
In the creek alongside this park were turtles- mums dads (Until the natives caught one of them) and babies. Thankfully they only caught one- I think I stopped the fishing exhibition when I mentioned to one of the teenage girls that I saw a turtle. Father was 'Not happy Jan' when he heard this! The water was crystal clear and we could see them swimming to the top of the water to take in air. Amazing!!! I enjoyed going down and watching them each day. Could only see one adult and lots of babies after the 'fishing exhibition'!

Mosaics on the toilet block:
The park was named after Vincent 'Bushy' Parker to acknowledge his significance; to many Vincent 'Bushy' Parker is known as a war hero. Someone had made mosaic artwork depicting some of Vincent's life.
