We left Hotel Ponte after breakfast and started our long long journey towards Mestia. The drive was so very long, but the views would just take your heart away. After a very long and tiring drive Lavani and his friend dropped us off in Mestia at around 5.00 pm.
Hotel Svaneti was a different experience. It didn't have the warmth that the other hotels had to offer. But it was ok since the view from the room managed to compensate for all the negatives. The people of Svaneti, i.e. Svans seemed to be not so warm and friendly as all other Georgians.
