GEORGIA

It was the first time we were having travel buddies on this tour and it was lovely to have such a nice duo Roman and Nora as our travel buddies.

The entrance to the Signagi with the city walls running around the city of love is indeed a beautiful sight.

We fist went to the Bodbe convent where the tomb is St. Nino the evangelist of Georgia is kept. After a stroll around this holy site Tarieli told that there is a pond of holy water and people swim there (in a temperature of -3 degrees) and roman was like you will get pneumonia if you swim there.

After another selfy spree we went to the Signani city centre and went on a walk around the vintage city clicking pictures in every nook and corner.

Later we went back to the hotel and enjoyed Tniniko's tea. And we decided to go for a walk while Roman said he had to get to work. (Roman is a software engineer and he could work from anywhere in the world. So lucky!) So Nora joined us for a walk. We stepped in to a souvenir joint and bought almost all the fridge magnets he had for sale. And then booboo and Baby decided to surprise Nora and Roman as their birthdays were coming up. They were indeed super surprised and overjoyed with the gift. Later we went out for dinner with the couple and Tarieli. Kachapuri Achareuli turned out to be so yummy.

We were to say Good bye to both of them and and the beautiful Russian couple the next day. Nora and Roman were heading to Borjome and we were off to Mtskheta the old capital of Georgia.

It was so sad to see Tarieli in tears as we said Good bye. They are surely among best people we met across our tour in Georgia.

And once again it made us think what amazing creatures human beings are to exchange so much of love, warmth and joy without a single word of a common language spoken (Of course Roman was there to translate. Wink!)
