Gudauri.. the ski resort of the Southern Caucasus

We were picked from Hotel Mariali and off we went to Gudauri.

It was a nice sunny day.. Another drive full of breathtaking landscapes...

We stopped on the way at a point with a magnificent view. The most perfect backdrop for a photo. After the photo break just as we took the bend there we saw the Annanuri castle standing in all its pride. Every corner of Georgia has a jaw dropping sight. We stopped again at Annanuri castle and bought some souvenirs.

And in no time we were at Hotel Aragvi. The Russian girl (I feel so bad that I dont remember her name) and Osama gave us an introduction of the hotel. By far it was the best hotel we've been to in Georgia. The restaurant facing river Aragvi flowing magnificently. It was the first time we saw a river flowing in the middle of snow. After unpacking we went out for a walk. And then she gave us the most startling news of the century. She said " Come back before its dark since there are wolfs" and our reaction was like OMG!!!

We walked up to the bridge which is a little away from the hotel. The road to the bridge was fully covered with snow and was occupied by a bunch of cows. So we couldn't make it to the bridge. And then booboo got in to another selfie spree. After clicking a million selfies

booboo and baby came back to the hotel and we tried to make a snowman in the snow covered garden of hotel Aragvi. And that was the moment we realized that making a snowman was no easy task. ha ha ha. We just manged to make the bottom part of the snowman. Its so funny.

After having a super lunch at the hotel restaurant we went back in to the room to rest. The restaurant was full at dinner time. The ski guests were back and it was a very bubbly and pleasant atmosphere with nice music in the background.
