Dubai International Airport - UAE

Waking up on the most exciting Thursday morning that we have ever experienced in our stay in the UAE,it was just a huge blood rush and we could literally feel the adrenaline pumping shouting out nothing but just one thing "Georgia"

However, since we needed the job to come back to after the wonderful and surprise filled vacation that was awaiting us, we had left our home sweet home in the normal booboo and baby style.

Throughout the course of the day we both so filled with excitement

that we were making calls to each other checking on how well organized we were for our beautiful journey while silently tweaking each others emotions of excitement without disturbing our forced attention to work.

Finally once we were done with the work aspect of the day we were all excited and running around our little heaven to prepare ourselves in the best possible manner so that we leave for our first ever tour (of many more to come hopefully :)) in the most suited and coolest way as the gorgeous and loving couple that we are.

Our travel to the airport with Indika Aiyya and Dinna was quite an abnormal journey since of course we were questioned on our readiness and us being the two little sweet culprits that we were had a small grin on our faces that read out to each other ""oh yeah baby, lets rock and role"

Finally we made it to the airport and Shariah being the airport that we travel so often suddenly felt like a strange place, trying to figure out the reason for the difference for a while walking around the airport we figured it out "Booboo and Baby are not going to Colombo today, we are off to Georgia" the old habits made booboo whisper to himself Colombo, but baby smiled to thinking "nope, I'm not going there, certainly not today"

Finally we decided to give up the chase and go VIP by using the Hala counter in the airport where we were told to get a travel insurance (which was later realized to be crap and just a money making strategy by the airline) we managed to complete the formalities and end up in the boarding area where excitement took over us and we started clicking so many selfies becoming public celebrities for a few minutes - one of those photos is what we have chosen to be our first picture in this beautiful travel journal, where we have inked down how a simple dream of 2 abnormally loving Sri Lankans was turned into reality.

Finally the waiting time was over and it was time to board the aircraft which quite frankly felt like a luxury horse carriage to us as we were stepping out of a dream and shaking hands with reality, seated and waiting for our carriage to take off booboo with the friendly attitude of course managed to make friends with one of the local guys that traveled to Georgia as if though he was travelling between Dubai and Ras al Khaimah, so getting a heads up of how beautiful the country is that chatting continued all the way for a couple of hours, until finally the local decided to give his mouth a break, the pre-ordered food was served on board and booboo and baby were displaying two complete opposite natures here, booboo had already woken up the foreigner inside of him by having grilled meat and coffee where as baby was proudly showing off the Sri Lankan by hogging on a not so savory rice (who the winner of this will be shown as we go down further in our travel journey - somewhere between Mestia and Gudauri to be precise).

As the pilot announced that we were close to our dream destination excitement struck us again where we were peeping outside the window seat searching for snow at 2:00AM making it quite obvious to our fellow travelers that we were indeed seeing snow for the first time.

To add spice and suspense to the whole feeling the pilot missed out the runway twice delaying the landing a bit, here the look on booboo was pretty obvious as if though the way he looks at someone while driving in Ras Al Khaimah saying "who gave this bugger license men" Finally the snow flakes gave in a bit allowing our pilot friend to land our carriage on Georgian soil and off went the cheers and hoorays from the whole aircraft in joy, a truly wonderful feeling that keep getting renewed every time we set foot on an air-plane.

Finally the flight was getting ready to halt and off we went dressing ourselves with all the possible attire available in our hand luggage, here we were pretty much feeling like we were ready, but booboo's friend thought otherwise with a grin saying softly "ït's not cold inside the airport"

Walking into the immigration was the most pleasant yet scary experience as there was a line of beautiful and hot Georgian women sitting as the immigration officers, and out of all of them we had to pick the grumpiest of them all that needed a lot of convincing and thank God for baby's research of four months where she managed to convince the grumpy Georgian that we were indeed here to see the whole of the country and was not heading back without stamping our feet all over it.

Mr. Temo our friendly non-English speaking guide was waiting for us with a name board which read "BOOBOO N BABY FERNANDEZ" (baby's lil surprise for booboo dearest). We walked out of the airport into a snow filled road where we were shouting out "snow" to each other which was Georgian enough for our guide Temo to realize that we had never in our lives seen snow, but he was super cool and excited along with us smiling and showing us the true Georgian hospitality that we were up for.

We were driven to our first hotel "Hotel Margi" and was offered a small but Cozy room which was more than enough for us to get cuddly and dream all night long. Our first night in beautiful Georgia...... Zzzzzzzzzzzzz
