When we arrived in Shanghai, China we were settled to go to the new Shanghai Disneyland! Did you know that the enchanted storybook castle is the tallest one to be built, measured to be about 200 feet high! I know right. CRAZY! When we arrived there was a man rather tall waiting to give us our tickets. Once we got them we were ready to go inside Shanghai Disneyland! The ticket queue was so long we spent about 15 minutes in the long long line and finally it was our turn. We showed them our tickets and then they checked our bags to make sure we were not going to take any drugs with us into the theme park. Then it was time to enter and start our fun disney adventure in Shanghai!

The first thing we saw was the enchanted storybook castle. Oh what a sight it was! The castle was about two hundred feet high! Because that was the first thing we saw in the giant park we decided to go there first. Inside there was mosaic arts inspired by the most famous disney princesses such as belle, cinderella or tiana. They were so beautiful that I just had to take photos with every single disney princess mosaic art.
Then we went into the alice in wonderland maze. The maze was HUMONGOUS! While we were walking there were breath taking statues of butterflies and birds. When we got to the centre we were in the mad hatters tea party. Inside the tea party were cakes, cupcakes, teacups and teapots. Of course they were plastic otherwise all of the children would smash them down.
Then we went on the winnie the pooh ride. The line was full off chattering noisy Chinese people and to make matters worse the line didn't move a bit. Finally it was our turn and I went with my mum. There was teacups of different colours, blue and yellow or pink and purple anyone? We went on blue and purple and then the magic of spinning begun! Round and round and round the teacup we went. Afterwards I got super dizzy.
Then we decided to get me a hat. It was boiling inn China! It was as hot as the lava pouring smoothly out of an enormous volcano! I thought Sri Lanka was hotter than China but apparently not. There was this stall that sold anything such as hats, souvenirs and other
stuff. We bought this hat that had a picture of mickey mouse and he was so cute! Also the hat was pretty cool because it had mickey mouses ears were sticking out of the lava red hat. At least that helped a bit with the hotness of the heat but it was still really hot. It was quite a shame because when we gave the hat to my sister she lost it so we didn't end up with that either. Then because we hadn't bought my sister anything we bought her a balloon. The balloon was pink and in the shape of mickey mouse. Around the balloon was some sort of plastic wrap covered in pictures of tsum tsums. Unfortunately we obviously weren't allowed to take that on the plane.
Because it was so hot in Shanghai disneyland we bought tons and tons
of water bottles to drink. Luckily enough there was a water trolley/cart that rode around the whole park. It was quite funny because when my dad went into the line we had already finished drinking the bottles so he had to keep going into the line non-stop!
Later by the enchanted storybook castle and alice in wonderland maze there was a disney themed beautiful stage. It was covered in lights that looked like bright stars twinkling in the night sky. Then it started, the show of course! Mickey, minnie, cinderella, merida, ariel, belle, elsa and anna too! What a wonderful sight it was!
Stargazer grill here we come! After a long walk we were hungry and
ready for a late lunch. We went to this restaurant called Stargazer grill. It was like a real hotel dining room! The view was so amazing I couldn't believe my eyes. We ordered fish and chips for the children and burgers for the adults. YUMMY!
Lastly we went to meet mickey! There was first this humongous line and while we were in the line we looked at the gallery of mickey and his friends. The pictures actually changed because they were mini TV screens! Then we moved to the next room and saw mickey. We took tons of fun photos with him!
