My adventures through the world

First Step in Canada

My emotion when I first got of that plain was, "Oh my God this place is heaven!!!” I had a very strong emotional breakdown when I saw the view of the beautiful city. Canada is more than the average stereotype. It’s more than just hockey, nice people, and maple syrup. They have stunning mountains, gorgeous glaciers, and spectral forests to look at. They have a lot of wildlife to look at like the whales, different bear species, and the moose. When I headed to the airport to pick up my bags a tour man approaches me and gives me a brochure about activities to do in the country. Amazingly he spoke in English. But, most countries I go to have bizarre and very difficult language to understand. But just like the US, Canada has a diverse culture too. When I was walking to get a taxi from Capital Taxi (they charge about $33.25) to head to my hotel I was staying. When I see like so many races to begin with. Black, white, Chinese, Arab, Korean, even Europeans. I couldn't believe my eyes. I then headed to the Fairmont Le Chateau Montebello Luxury hotel. Most hotels in Canada are actual pretty cheap compared to here. Any average stay in here would be $23.00 per room per night. Which is pretty cheap. It’s a family run and government business. So they don't lose money. Now I head in to check my reservation and get my room. I tell you wood looks well in a hotel. It’s basically one big log cabin with a lot of designs and simplicity. I unpack my stuff and hop on my beautifully engraved wood bed with temper-pedic mattress. I look at my checking balance right now and have about $5,467 left. I spent today about $50 plus tipping the concierge for putting my bags in the taxi. So about $55. Now I am a little tired. I am going to bed. I got a lot of places I want to visit. Montreal, Vancouver, Au Pied de Cochon, Toque, and European.........bistroMMMMMM..........bistro
