After visit the National Museum of Japanese History I want to see some religious shrine or church. Maybe get a nice side with God or Shintoism. I plan to go to the Daruma Matsuri at Kita-in Temple in Kawagoe to get glimpse on what really it means. But let me give you a basic information on what Shintoism really is. Shinto has no founder, no official sacred texts, and no formalized system of doctrine. Shinto has been formative in developing uniquely Japanese attitudes and sensitivities, creating a distinct Japanese consciousness. Belief in kami: sacred or divine beings, although also understood to be spiritual essences: is one of the foundations of Shinto. Shinto understands that the kami not only exist as spiritual beings, but also in nature; they are within mountains, trees, rivers, and even geographical regions. Basically they have these gates that are in different religions. The water gate is of course in the ocean or lake. The earth gate will be one the flat ground of soil. The air gate would be on a mountain of sort. The fire gate would be underground or someplace naturally hot. I get dress in some Japanese business attire and check my balance. $3853. I head to Kawagoe in 1 hor. As soon as I touch foot on the ground. I am surrounded by Daruma dolls and people waiting to pray at the temple. Now the Japanese people think Daruma dolls are goal-achieving dolls. When you have a goal you want to accomplish you draw one eye onto the doll. When you accomplish that goal you draw the other eye. The body of the doll is hollow so all those goals on the paper is going to fill up eventually. When New Year’s hits then you throw all the old goals in the trash and start new. I walk to the northern gate of Kitain and recognize lots of things. Most of the locals are Japanese but some Korean, Chinese, or some Asian descent. But no foreigners. The religion is like I said old version of Buddhism. No Christianity has touched this island. The Language is Japanese some small amounts of Korean and Chinese. So many people almost 126,999,808 people. The kids over here are really smart and genius. They have the literacy score of exactly 99%. But they don't live long 83.10 years for both man and woman. I noticed this and just moved on. I went inside the temple before anybody else because a Shinto priest wanted to welcome "The New Believer". In my mind I was like" Uh dude I support God, But I still the same thing". I walk in the temple and it’s BIG. I am given scented candle sticks and told to pray to the Buddha 5x times. I tell him (I am praying to God) that my life is important and tell to protect my family, friends, and animals. I get out the temple and decide to actual complete my goal. I head to a video game arcade and play Contra 3. To unlock the fullest potentials of life you need to open your inner chi. Life quote right there....
