My adventures through the world

Me and Pedro wake up from our long sleep. We both realize we left the door open last night. But, luckily nothing got stolen. Even an honest maid watch our room the whole night. We compensated her for the kindness. We both decide to get some fresh air. I got $2000. Pedro says he wants to go to the Volcano National Park in Masaya. That’s a day’s walk, but we decide to just take a taxi. We strap on our bags and call El Chino Taxi Company. We got in the car in minutes. The driver drove us to Masaya. Like I said its 1 day to walk. Well to drive it’s about 30 minutes for $40.47. We arrived there at the Masaya Volcano National Park. Got to tell myself it’s not Pompeii all over again. We pay about a $35 fee to get in. We gets some brochures and how big the volcano is. "La Boca Del Inferno" or "The Mouth of Hell" is a shield volcano and has erupted several times in history. It was feared by all throughout history. Now me and Pedro walk around the park a bit and see somethings. There are lots of native animals in Nicaragua. But here are some good ones. The Jaguar is the most beautiful, deadliest animal in Nicaragua. I encountered one when I was walking up a trail to the volcano. They aren't going to bother you unless you mess with them. One tourist got the memo when he throw a sack of meat at the Jaguar. Next thing you know he is getting roared and intimidated at by an instinct animal, The National Park rangers quickly put the animal on a chain and led him in a designated forest. Then there is the alligator, which me and Pedro are freaked out over. When we were walking the reptile just popped out of nowhere and went straight for us. You ever heard the oldwives tale that alligator and crocodiles can't climb. Well guess what? They are pretty good climbers and Pedro was almost a human happy meal for this reptile thing until once again National Park rangers are here for the rescue. We wanted to compensate them, but they said it was their job. We hike up the mountain to see "The Mouth of Hell". It is actual proven that there’s always smoke and sulfur coming out the mouth 24/7. It is infinite. Me and Pedro took some pictures and went out of there. Its 4:30 we should get going before the park closes. We head back on to Managua in 30 minutes and start packing up in our hotel. We had a pretty good week here in Nicaragua. Pedro really enjoyed because he never traveled and it was a new experience for him. I go to sleep while he continues packing.
