The French countryside was quite exquisite, but my tour group was heading to Villa Savoye in order to study the architecture. When we got there, the cloud cover was thin and a gentle breeze fluttered the grass around the building. I was surprised to see that the building was on pillars rather than on the ground which the tour guide explained it was to have the least environmental impact. The roof was flat and had a garden while the interior was bland and boring. The overall building was quite interesting, but not as intriquite as the other works that my tour group has seen. While the overall building was meh, I am ready to see the other works of the French country.
