From the moment we arrived at our apartments, I already had a good impression of MLK. The church has done an incredible job of decorating the apartments and making sure we are comfortable in our new home.
MLK is far more than I ever expected. I remember on our first tour of MLK I was very surprised. The church is modern and growing so quickly. They have so many offices and resources for the members to use. I very quickly understood that MLK works to do all they do in excellence. God is blessing MLK greatly and I am so grateful to be loved by MLK.
MLK has taken us in and made us feel at home. They have made us feel welcomed and have made every effort to communicate with us and help us better learn French culture as well as the language. There is so much diversity at MLK which helped me feel comfortable. I didn't feel like I did not belong instead, I felt like I added to the diversity. To contribute to MLK I plan on volunteering with their food drive. I believe it will be a great way to help them further the good works they are doing.
So far MLK is far more than I expected. I love that it is a fairly small church and is in no way intimidating. The members make us feel welcome and the worship is amazing. MLK is full of talented members who are able to shake heaven through worship. It was incredible to watch God pull on my heart for the first time through worship I could not physically understand. God has shown me that the church is not confined by language or walls. The church lives within us.
