A moment I do not want to forget is when we came out of the metro in Paris and saw snow! I never imagined that seeing snow in Paris would make me so happy. I'm a Michigander and love snow, but the snow I experienced today still got me excited.
After getting out of the metro and taking in the snow, we also got to see the “I Love You" wall. It was lots of fun to take pictures and try to find the words "I Love You" in different languages.
Through these special moments and experiences together, I feel that we grow closer. Our "tour guide" for today was Emmanuelle. It was so nice to see the different places she likes in France and get to know her better. She took very good care of us and made sure we had the best time possible. I am so grateful for Emmanuelle. She is so fun to be with and knows a lot about the history of France.
I'm excited to experience more special moments in France. I've met lots of great people and seen beautiful places so far and I'm so excited about all the things to come. I’ve seen God’s beauty in new faces and new places. I couldn’t be more grateful to God for opening my eyes to see beauty in even the tiniest things like snowfall. God has also shown me how to be open to a new culture. I’m learning to respect and love all of God’s creation and people. I’m excited to see how God surprises me next here in France!
