Day 50
Today, to my surprise, was highly productive (in terms of Bangkok-standard). We made a group of people and went to Chatuchak market for some clothes and lunch. I got a hat and two pairs of shorts. When we got back to the hostel, we met a group of ten people. They where all waiting for the Muay Thai fights tonight so I grabbed my camera and joined in.
The arena wasn't far away from our hostel. We walked in about 15 minutes and got there just as the first fight started. It became very clear that these guys don't mess around, I saw one guy have his elbow pop out, another got his eye cut up and all of this gives extra points as the sport is scored by how much damage you inflict. The arena was hot enough to make the streets of Bangkok feel cool, so me and the dutch max went to the bar next door to watch it on TV

and have some dinner.
Day 51
Every day is a lazy day in Bangkok. I woke up at 11:00, had a shower, coffee, and sat in the couch until 17:00. We headed out and found a mysterious restaurant under the bridge which had amazing food and cheap prices. The next step, apparently, was to get drunk as hell and go to Khaosan. A few bars later, after watching Matti spray his entire beer in the face of a new danish guy, we had a long sad goodbye at the hostel. I promised to go to Helsinki and visit and If i go to Amsterdam, I'm gonna let Max know as well.
Day 52
Tonight was my last night in Bangkok, I met up with Mähler and his girlfriend for some dinner and drinks. At the point of coming back to the hostel, I had what we refer to as "Gerbil-eyes". This is when the level of drunk peaks and you can move your eyes individually... Anyway. I wen't to bed super late and just as I was about to fall asleep, I got the message from the airplane company that my flight is confirmed!
