Day 87
I went to Hanazono shrine to meet up with Malthe. It is located five minutes from Shinjuku's red gate and it looked so cool with the cherry trees around. We spent about 30 minutes here before heading to the a huge shopping center known as BicQlo, which is a 9 stores tall mashup between the electronics brand BicCamera and Clothing brand Uniqlo. We went through the different sections and Malthe bought some new ear phones before heading towards Tokyo metropolitan government building.

Day 87
I went to Hanazono shrine to meet up with Malthe.
This building has two observation decks and one of them is always open to the public. I didn't fully grasp how ridiculously big this city was until I looked at the horizon in a 360 degree angle and saw nothing but Tokyo. We had some coffee and grapefruit juice and enjoyed the view for about 45 minutes before heading to nearby Shinjuku central park.
We found the other danish people in the park and explored a nearby shrine together. After about one hour Malthe went to see his new host on couch surfing and the rest of us went to Golden Gai for beer and dinner. We got drunk and headed to the Arcades on Kabukicho. where I watched Bergen waste half of his budget on trying to get a Pokemon-plushy.
Day 88
It was time to spend a full day in Akihabara, Akiba for short. This area is probably the biggest electronics market in the world. It is the center of gaming, phones, anime, manga, cosplay, retro video games, figures, weird sex shops, Pokemon, and much, MUCH more. I was looking for a few famous locations from "Steins gate" and I actually
found them, the Crossfield bridge near the electric city entrance and Kaikan radio building (minus the crashed time machine on the roof of course). After spending nearly six hours in Akiba my brain was completely fried. There are so many people and so much stuff going on that I had to go back to the hostel for a while and recover, before heading to the Shibuya scramble crossing (probably the most iconic part of Tokyo). I met up with Malthe and some more people for karaoke night and managed to get the legendary Tokyo ghoul screen cap before the alcohol fueled nightmare of anime soundtracks started...
Day 89
Today was all about taking it easy. I did laundry, had lunch and slept for about 6 hours in the day. At night I met up with Lynus for dinner and walking around shinjuku. He just arrived in Tokyo, and asked me for advise on where to go. Tomorrow I will go with Malthe and some
friends of his, to check out Ginza!
Day 90
I saw the most beautiful thing today. A sight so magnificent that it would make any man struggle against the tears. I speak of nothing less than the Nissan 2020 GT-R Concept in Ginza. This car makes other lamborginis look like a joke and ferraris feel underwhelming. I spent a good hour basking in its glory, went into the current GT-R, Black edition, and walked over to Hama-Rikyu Gardens to meet up with Malthe. I got some very pretty pictures in this park, and after about two hours we went to the imperial palace to meet Johann and look at the cherry blossoms before all the petals fall of the trees.
I walked back to the hostel after having some Ramen at the train station. Met up with Lynus and a friend of his, and went out for drinks!
