Day 27
Waking up at 09:00 feels very successful after being out drinking until about 01:00. Especially since I did not suffer from any hangover today. I set out on my own this morning in order to grab some water, and breakfast. I had some stir fried rice noodles with peanuts and shrimps and with this I drank a mango smoothie. With a belly full of delicious food, I went back to Khao san road for a "Haircut" and some shorts. Wearing clothes that where okay in Nepal does not translate into being okay in Thailand. It is about a 13 degree difference in temperature and Bangkok is also right next to the ocean, meaning it's insanely hot here.
Later in the evening the group I'm with set out into the party streets for beer and dinner. I told the others that I would eat a tarantula if someone would go for a scorpion. Upon doing this I was met with a lot more enthusiasm than I had predicted, and to my surprise, It was time to try roasted tarantula. The taste is okay, not as good as scorpions but the consistency was not very pleasant and also, you get spider

legs between your teeth...
We are back at the hostel earlier today than yesterday. I'm actually already quite excited to leave Bangkok but I think I'll be stuck here until at least Wednesday, due to the fact that I ordered a suit from one of the tailors far away from khao san.
