Day 28
Life moves more slow in Bangkok, I think it's because of the heat. Today for example, we left the hostel at 11:00 for breakfast. I had some chicken skewers, mangoes and a big glass of ice cold milk. We decided to get a taxi to Chatuchak and after about 30 minutes we arrived.
This market had it all. Over 8000 stalls and more than 200 000 daily visitors according to google. No matter what you are looking for, it can be found here. That is what I heard before, and that is what I will confirm after going there. The streets are covered in things to look at, there is food everywhere and no matter how low the prices, it seems like you can always find them cheaper around the corner. We could easily spend the entire day in this area but I had and appointment at my tailor so I left around 15:00.
The tailor I went to is called "Tailor at Ten" It is a very professional establishment. Upon arriving you get beer, water or whiskey, They also offer you your personal stylist and

2 tailors that helps you with the design and fitting. I'm getting a dark green suit with brown details and a "tiger like" lining. It's going to be a really beautiful suit.
I'm back at the hostel, and hanging out with Max, he is leaving for Chiang mai very soon and we are spending the last time together before he goes to the bus. I will catch up with him as soon as my suit is finished and I'm free to leave Bangkok.
Day 29
Today I went out for Nepali food, I couldn't resist the smell of a good mutton curry. My new mates went shopping earlier this morning and when they come back we will go to a place known as the Bangkok Ghost tower. It is an abandoned skyscraper that has great views of the city. After this we will head china town for the Chinese new year celebrations.
Plan didn't work out. Sometimes your gut feeling tells you to get the fuck out, and at those times it's probably best to listen. As soon as we reached the ghost tower some shady guy came out of the shadows and demanded 500 baht each. This was an abandoned building with signs everywhere saying no trespassers and no photos. My friends started negotiating with him but this guy is just trying to take money of us to not rat us
out to the police. Maybe if we didn't talk to him and tried to sneak in, we could have done it, but in the end we decided to go to china town instead. The walk there took about 30 minutes and upon arriving I saw more people than I had ever seen before. Even if the main new year event haven't started yet the streets are packed. There are girls in red silk dresses everywhere, red lanterns hanging across the streets, red dragon toys are carried by all children and the smell of braised pork fills the entire district.
We waited in line for about 25 minutes just to get food here, and after that we decided to try Durian. This smelly spiky fruit, turns out not to be very smelly at all and the taste is in my opinion delicious. Selling it to someone may be very hard though, as the best description would be something like mixing avocado, whipped cream, and onions. I have read that it's supposedly very healthy and enjoyed the fact that most of the other westerners freaked out about the consistency, and thus, I could finish it! We went back by tuck-tuck and I spent the rest of the evening in our air-conditioned room!
