Day 105
I decided that I had to stop wasting my time and actually go out and do something interesting today. The guy who put Sendai on the map was a Samurai-Warlord, who became loved and famous, in part for chasing the christian missionaries out of Japan (I wish we had a hero like this.) His name was Date Masamune. The stories of his battles spread all over Asia, and he appears in pop culture as a legendary Blade-Dancer and Guardian. Although I am not sure whether his bones still remain there, he was moved to Zuihoden Mausoleum, after his death in Tokyo 1636.
The hill that Zuihoden is located on, has a mysterious serenity. I felt very calm while walking around in the forest, made up by massive pine trees and over the graves the last cherry blossom petals fell silently through the air. It felt like time stood still in there but when I walked out I was hit by the last golden rays of sunlight and realized that I spent more than 3 hours walking in the relatively small forest. Tonight we shall have a feast in the hostel! to celebrate our hero Date Masamune!
Day 106
Aimlessly walking around the city can prove to be very interesting. Todays best picture was a bird, watching my every move closely. We looked at each other and this little guy seemed just as fascinated with me as I was with him. He didn't fly away when I went closer, he just sat there and watched, turning his head towards me. After I got

After I got
back to the hostel I decided to hang out in the common room and head to bed early.
Day 107
Yesterday I went back to a location from a few days ago. The weather was cloudy and lighting was not really optimal, in other words, it was a perfect time to practice. I did my best to get a good picture in these conditions and the final result changed a lot from the last picture in that location. Tomorrow, I will have to leave the hostel in Sendai and go back to Tokyo.
