Nice drive through Mississippi, Alabama, into Florida. It is a very beautiful and treed area. Lots of wealth and lots of poverty. Finally, a forecast offering hope for a stretch of sunshine. We set up, had a drink and sat in the sunshine and then drove out to a large sand spit, home to two towns, Navarre at one end and Pensacola Beach at the other. There was a thin strip of sand alongside the highway in between the towns. We had supper at a nice open patio over looking a dock and the gulf. The bridges over the water reminded me of a mini Florida Keys.
