We rode the bike to Navarre beach, Destin/Fort Walton beach and beyond. We turned away from the Gulf around Freeport. Part of the trip was very commercialized, part of the ride took us past large and amazing homes, and part was white sand with wild beach vegetation for miles and miles. We stopped at a beachside restaurant in Destin and enjoyed a nice meal with a great view. Once we started going north our trip took us to some familiar spots which we previously rode with Don and Cheryl a few years ago (Jimmy’s campground area, the Triple B Festival in Crestview, although we were a couple of weeks early for the festival this time around). It was a lovely ride.
