After a few non-starters when it came to plans, it ended up being a lovely day. We drove to Pensacola to the naval base where there are two or three museums. Upon arriving, the base was closed to civilians. We ended up back at the beach where we went for a nice walk and enjoyed a bay view patio drink. It was interesting looking at the jellyfish that had washed up. They were clear with blue and purple coloring. We decided to go to the Tin Cow restaurant in Pace, near Milton; however, following in the theme of our day this too was closed. The silver-lining was we ended up at a restaurant called the Blackwater Bistro. It was in a residential part of Milton in an old house that was 100+ years old. We sat on the veranda but had a quick tour of the inside after our meal. It was a lovely meal. Although there have been rain in the area and in our campground today, we lucked out and missed it for the most part. It was a nice warm day.
