The day started at 24 Fahrenheit and got up to 60 Fahrenheit so a nice treat. The drive to Joplin was was windy but the roads were dry. There seemed to be more snow in the top corner of Iowa then the whole trip so far but we quickly drove out of it. I missed a picture of long horned cattle and also some derelict houses in a town whose economy had obviously died. Very sad. We also saw some gorgeous, huge homes- the States, a country of extremes. We picked up some groceries tonight and have one more day to drive and then we will be settled in one spot for a few days. Looks like some warm weather and some rain in our future - we’ll take it.
